Hummingbird Risk Advisors, LLC was founded in 2008 by Kymberlee Dougherty Tysk, with the goal to create an organization based on sound risk management practices that focuses on improving the quality of care provided by the senior housing industry.

Our primary focus is on enhancing care quality by minimizing liability risks and supporting process enhancements. This approach enables our clients to concentrate on delivering exceptional care and services while we handle risk management effectively. Our team comprises licensed insurance brokers, clinicians, and claims adjusters, ensuring comprehensive support across all aspects of risk management.
Hummingbird does not place insurance nor directly handle acquisition/divestiture transactions. Instead, we partner with our client's legal, financial, and insurance partners to provide impartial recommendations for industry best practice solutions.
